We believe accessibility grows through relationships and real presence. We show up as speakers, facilitators, consultants, and accessibility partners - sharing lived experience, supporting community spaces, and helping create environments where everyone feels welcome.

Active Engagements

  • This Collaboration honours Joshua Andrew Beer through a legacy collaboration rooted in real connection, caregiving, and lived inclusion. Josh connected with the world through joy, music, laughter, and presence — reminding us that understanding is not measured by words, but by how we show up for one another.

    Created in his honour, this collaboration reflects the belief that connection matters and that meaningful relationships can create lasting impact. In gratitude for the unforgettable experience Make‑A‑Wish gifted Josh and his family, all profits from this collaboration are donated to the Make‑A‑Wish Foundation, as chosen by his parents.

    This is our first legacy collaboration and will remain available through the end of 2026.

  • The Ability Company will support accessibility by providing volunteer training and on-site accessibility support. Our team will help volunteers build confidence in welcoming and assisting attendees with diverse accessibility needs while promoting a respectful, people-first approach.

    During the event, we will also be present with a dedicated calming space where attendees can take a break, recharge, and return to the festivities when they are ready. This practical, community-focused approach helps make the Powwow more welcoming for all.

Past Engagements

  • Support was provided to SEIU Healthcare through a Rapid Accessibility Planning Sprint in preparation for an upcoming human rights conference.

    This engagement included an inclusive, accessibility-focused review, a concise recommendations brief, and a mini site visit with guided follow-up — helping ensure the event experience was inclusive, accessible, and thoughtfully designed.

  • The Ability Company was honoured to support Plattsville’s 175th Anniversary on June 20, 2026, helping ensure the celebration was welcoming, accessible, and inclusive for all.

    Through volunteer training and a relationship‑focused approach, we contributed to a day rooted in connection, community, and belonging.
