About Us
What We Do
The Ability Company is a purpose‑driven, disability‑led, women‑led, and Indigenous‑led organization dedicated to empowering adults with disabilities and their caregivers while advocating for inclusion and dismantling stigma. Launched on December 3 — the International Day of People with Disabilities — The Ability Company combines social impact with practical, community‑focused solutions. Our work spans two divisions: products that celebrate ability and build connection, and services that support, educate, and advance inclusion in communities and organizations.
The Ability Collective is our product division, featuring thoughtfully designed merchandise that raises awareness, sparks meaningful conversations, and celebrates the diverse abilities within our communities. Each item supports our vision of inclusion by uplifting disability and caregiving experiences through representation, storytelling, and purpose‑driven design.
The Ability Services is our service division which offers a range of community‑rooted supports and thought‑leadership offerings designed to enhance the lives of adults with disabilities and their caregivers. Grounded in inclusion, accessibility, and empowerment, our services provide connection, education, and relational guidance to help create more inclusive communities and organizations.
Our services include:
Ability Storytellings — keynote speaking, workshops, and lived‑experience education
Ability Events — accessibility partnership and inclusion‑focused thought leadership for organizations
Ability Circles — a membership community offering peer connection, support, and shared learning
Ability Explorations — accessible travel and community experiences
We believe in celebrating ability over disability. Every person has strengths, stories, and contributions that matter. Through our products and thought‑leadership services, we empower individuals and caregivers while partnering with organizations, workplaces, and community leaders to deepen awareness, strengthen accessibility, and champion inclusive practices.
Join us in creating a world where inclusion is lived, learned, and embraced — because ability comes in many forms.
