One Year Anniversary
December 3rd marks two milestones: our first anniversary and the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.
In just one year, we’ve come a long way. We official introduced The Ability Collective, launched the Drop Zone which contains our Limited-Editions, and refined our offerings with new initiatives like the Bear and Owl Circle.
We created our first keynote and laid the foundation for future workshops. The Hub took shape with weekly blogs, monthly newsletter, and a new YouTube channel. We improved our website to make shopping easier and transformed how we purchase and make our products — making it more affordable and accessible.
September and October brought The Fall for All Drop including our first coloring book, while November and December closes the year with The Holiday Drop featuring handcrafted ornaments, art, and coasters.
It hasn’t been easy — being a social enterprise today is challenging — but we’re here, stronger than ever, and ready to move forward. 2026 is on the horizon, and we’ll share what’s next in January. For now, we celebrate this incredible first year and thank you for being part of the journey!

Behind the Scenes
We’ve been busy — in the best way. While you're reading this, we’re laying the groundwork for some exciting next steps behind the scenes.
Planning for 2026 - January will be all about reflection and vision-setting. We’re working on our 2026 strategy, focusing on ways to strengthen our impact as a social enterprise. That means refining our services, exploring new partnerships, and creating more opportunities for inclusion through products, events, and advocacy.
Growing The Hub - Our Hub: home to blogs, newsletters, and videos — is evolving. We’re planning deeper content on accessibility, caregiving, and inclusion, plus more stories that amplify voices often left out of the conversation. Expect fresh formats, interactive resources, and educational pieces that make inclusion practical and inspiring.
Community Connections - We believe inclusion starts locally. That’s why we’re looking at community involvement opportunities, including joining the Chamber of Commerce and collaborating with local businesses and organizations. These connections will help us amplify our mission and create real change where it matters most.
Creative Valentine’s Ideas - Love and inclusion go hand in hand. We’re brainstorming Valentine’s Day designs and campaigns that celebrate accessibility and diversity — think inclusive cards for kids, bold graphics for apparel, and messages that remind everyone that love sees ability.
Word of the Month: Celebrate
verb: To honor, acknowledge, and embrace moments that matter — big or small — with joy and intention.
At The Ability Company, celebrate means more than marking an occasion; it’s about recognizing progress, diversity, and the beauty of inclusion. It’s about lifting voices, sharing stories, and creating spaces where every ability shines.

Product Spotlight: Taking the 'Dis out of Disability'
This month, we’re shining a light on the line that started it all — our tagline turned statement piece: “Taking the ‘Dis’ out of Disability.”
It’s more than words; it’s a movement. This design reflects our mission to challenge stereotypes, celebrate ability, and create a world where inclusion isn’t optional — it’s essential.
As we mark our first anniversary, this line reminds us why we began: to empower, to educate, and to make inclusion the norm. Wear it proudly, gift it meaningfully, and join us in redefining what ability looks like.
